TEC High School students have earned their CPR, AED, and First Aid certifications after successfully completing the 8-hour training course led by Mrs. SIlletti and supported by Ms. Coleman. Divided up during weekly rotations, the students got hands-on practice with both adult and infant mannequins, learned about scene safety and proper care protocols, and passed the written examination. These lessons were the first round of TEC’s new Thursday Life/Transition skills sessions. The students are to be congratulated for meeting this challenge with maturity and determination as they learned how to provide potentially life-saving care for those who may be suffering a heart attack or dealing with a wide variety of injuries.
