Specialized Programming
TEC Campus School Classrooms incorporate flexible programming and structure based on individual students needs and skills.
Small classrooms for students with intensive special needs provide multi-sensory instruction in all curriculum areas utilizing an integrated related services approach..

Academic Behavioral Learning Environment (ABLE):
- The principles of Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) are applied throughout each student’s school day
- Individualized behavioral support plans are essential parts of students’ daily lives
- Focus on development of communication skills to to replace challenging behaviors and increase expected behavioral outcomes
- In-class special education teacher, BCBA Support, and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT)
TEC Campus Satellite Classroom at Westwood High School:
- TEC instructional staff support students across environments (classroom, school, community)
- Students access high school settings such as cafeteria, library, fitness center, outdoor track, Friendship Club and more
Transition Program:
- Transition students focus on increasing independence in all areas with the vision of transition to adult services
- Focus on functional learning to promote self-advocacy, functional, life, and vocational skills in a variety of settings
- Community-based learning including functional living skills, social groups, fitness and recreation, travel-training, and a replica apartment environment
- Transition assessments and transition planning including collaborative work with outside agencies are incorporated into the program
- School-based Cafe which allows students to consistently work on social and vocational skills
