The Education Cooperative’s nursing team works collaboratively to promote the optimum health and wellness of each student. The Nursing Department provides medical care in the classroom in order to provide an increase in learning time. Through skilled nursing care and communication with families, medical providers and staff, the nursing team provides the medical support necessary for each student to achieve their goals.

TEC’s Nursing Team
Kerry Kubera, RN - Nurse Leader
Kerry received her Bachelors of Arts in Sociology with a minor in Psychology from UMass Boston followed by her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from UMass Boston. She has been working in pediatrics with medically complex children for 22 years. Since 2014 she has been employed by TEC as the Nurse Leader. She is DESE certified. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She enjoys staying active, hot yoga, running and time on the beach.
Marybeth Kilcommons, RN
Marybeth received her Associate’s Degree in Nursing from Quincy College in 1992. She spent twelve years working in an acute care hospital setting and an additional ten years as a pediatric home care nurse. Marybeth has been working as a nurse in the Intensive High School classroom at TEC since 2014. She enjoys reading, yoga, and spending long days on the beaches of Cape Cod.
Laura McCarthy, RN
Laura received her Bachelors of Science in Nursing at UMASS Boston. She has worked in pediatrics with medically complex children for 24 years and has worked at TEC for 5 years. In her spare time, she enjoys reading and spending time with family and friends.
Allison Rondeau, RN
Allison received her Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from Regis College in Weston. She has been working as a nurse at TEC in the Early Childhood classroom since May 2013. In her spare time, Allison enjoys teaching dance to little ones and spending time on the beach with her family in Scituate.
