Registration Opens July 1st 2026
This self-directed course is designed to empower educators to strengthen their classroom culture and support the well-being of both their students and themselves. Through four focused modules, participants will explore the science and practical application of Social Emotional Learning (SEL). Educators will deepen their understanding of the Collaborative for Academic, Social, and Emotional Learning (CASEL) framework, practice proactive teacher language and community-building strategies that strengthen relationships, develop skills for facilitating student-centered SEL experiences, and identify sustainable practices that support their own well-being and professional connection with colleagues. By the end of the course, educators will leave with practical tools and strategies necessary to intentionally integrate SEL into their daily teaching practice.
Drawing on current research in psychology, neuroscience, and education, this course connects theory to practice; equipping you with tools you can use in your classroom immediately. You will complete readings, hands-on activities, reflections, and short quizzes at your own pace.
This course meets the DESE license renewal requirements of at least 15 PDPs related to training in strategies for effective schooling for students with disabilities and the instruction of students with diverse learning styles.
NOTE: THIS COURSE IS COMPLETELY ONLINE, SELF-PACED, AND WILL PROVIDE A CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION WHEN YOU FINISH THE COURSE.
