In this course, educators will learn how to design and facilitate rigorous, authentic learning experiences that promote deep understanding, critical thinking, and student agency. Using Suzie Boss’s Project Based Teaching as a foundation, participants will explore the essential elements of PBL, including challenging problems or questions, sustained inquiry, authenticity, student voice and choice, reflection, critique and revision, and public products. This 4-week course requires weekly assignments. Graduate credit seekers must also submit a final project by the end of week 4 or no later than August 16.
