About the Instructors

Ken Toomey is entering his 35th year in the field of education. He is currently the PK-5 STEM Coach for the Dedham Public Schools. Prior to this role, he taught fifth grade in Dedham for thirty years. Ken was a fellow in Cohort 1 of Fuse MA before becoming the coordinator for Cohort 2. Currently, he collaborates with other educators as part of the planning team for TEC’s Education Rejuvenation group. As an educator, Ken has built his capacity to work with others to share, implement, and evaluate best practices.

Tricia Rocha is entering her 21st year as an educator in the Dedham Schools. She has worked at both the middle and high school levels, and is currently an English teacher at Dedham High School.  Prior to transitioning to secondary education, she was a program coordinator and manager of case study development for Programs in Professional Education at the Harvard Graduate School of Education. A strong believer in the power of teachers supporting teachers, she has collaborated with fellow educators as a Fuse MA Fellow, a DESE CURATE Fellow, and a member of the planning team for TEC’s Education Rejuvenation group.
