How To Enroll at TEC

  • Step 1

    Students are enrolled in the The Education Cooperative (TEC) through the special education TEAM process with their home public school district. Through that process, districts send a referral packet to the appropriate program at TEC (TEC Campus School, TEC High School, or TEC Academy).

  • Step 2

    When a student is referred to TEC by its district, TEC reviews the student's IEP and other educational records. If the student is determined to be an appropriate candidate for TEC, a member of the TEC staff reaches out to the family to provide an opportunity to learn more about the program, visit our campus, and have TEC meet with the student.

  • Step 3

    If TEC is able to meet the student’s need, TEC will notify the district to offer the student enrollment.

  • Step 4

    If the district and family would like to move forward, TEC will collaborate with you to determine a mutually agreeable start date.
