Teacher to Teacher Podcast PD: Experienced teachers share their stories, their successes, and how they minimize the stress of teaching

Educators are adept at multitasking! Listen to this series of 10 one-hour podcasts while you walk, relax, or do tasks around your classroom or home. This podcast series, titled Teacher to Teacher with host Carol Pelletier Radford, is an opportunity to learn from authentic conversations with seasoned educators who share their wisdom and successful classroom strategies. You will take away personal actions to minimize stress and stay healthy, as well as practical ideas you can use immediately to energize you and keep you inspired. Share your ideas and take-aways in three virtual meetings with educators from other districts. Join us for an innovative experience in professional learning!

About the Instructor

Carol Pelletier Radford is the founder of Mentoring in Action, an organization dedicated to the success of novice teachers and their mentors. She received her doctorate from the Harvard Graduate School of Education where she focused her studies on mentoring and teacher leadership. Carol is an experienced classroom teacher, university education administrator, and certified yoga instructor. Her new book, When I Started Teaching, I Wish I Had Known… Weekly Wisdom For Beginning Teachers is a Corwin bestseller. She is currently hosting the Teacher to Teacher podcast with Corwin Press and is supporting teachers through Podcast PD. Carol is committed to supporting the well-being of all educators. You can find her on the beach in Venice, Florida or Falmouth, Massachusetts.

Karen DeRusha is a former elementary school teacher and early childhood professional development developer/provider. She has presented courses for TEC. She has been working with Mentoring in Action for the past 10 years, collaborating on course design and implementation and responding to course participants’ journal responses.
