K-12 Physical Educators

Physical Education is Important …. Here’s Why!

As physical educators, we have long been faced with the challenge of confronting the myths and assumptions about what our discipline entails. Held by the general public, these assumptions and questions are even more likely to be raised as we enter a new school year of uncertainty and fiscal constraints. This course will help you advocate for your Physical Education, Health and Wellness program in a myriad of ways.  Practical ideas will be provided to advance the quality of your physical education program and to help you inform your larger school community of the value of your program. We must help people in our communities understand that a thriving physical education program is essential to students’ wellness and to a well-balanced school curriculum, especially in the climate of today.
