Therapeutic Programs

This continuum focuses on delivering strong academic content while providing emotional and behavioral support to the student enabling a successful integration to their home district or the next least restrictive setting.

  • School-Based programs offered for students range from Grades 6-8
  • Typical Disability Categories Served:
    • Autism Spectrum
    • Emotional (Anxiety, Bipolar, Depression)
    • Developmental Delay
    • Health (ADHD, ODD, OCD)
    • Specific Learning
  • Full time licensed Social Worker provides embedded counseling, clinical consulting, and case management
  • Classroom staff trained in crisis management
  • Academic curriculum aligned with the Curriculum Frameworks
  • Short term 45-day placements (with and without assessments) are available for all Therapeutic programs

Application to Therapeutic Programs

Parents/Guardians should direct their application inquiry to the Special Education Administrator in their school district. Once the district approves the student as appropriate for a TEC Therapeutic Program, they will submit a referral packet to TEC for review and TEC will contact the parent/guardian to schedule a program visit.
